The Atlanta MadHatters are pleased to announce the hiring of Rob Boyle as the Head Coach for the 16U-AA team.

Coach Rob comes to Atlanta from Wichita, KS with a wealth of playing, coaching, and management experience. While in Kansas, Boyle wore many hats over the course of ten years, serving as General Manager of the Wichita Ice Center, Assistant Coach with the Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League, Dean of Coaches for the Wichita Youth Hockey Association, USA Hockey CEP (coaching education program) Instructor, and High School Hockey Coach. Additionally, for the past 18 years Rob has been the Head Coach of the Weekend Warriors Adult Hockey Academy - a hockey school for Adult beginner hockey players.

Coach Boyle started his coaching career at Concordia University in Montreal 1993-1998 where he was also a player.   After time in Montreal he took a job as Hockey Director in Charlottesville, VA where he started a travel program which was non-existent at the time.   Rob has coached every age from beginners to pro's, and finds passion in helping young programs grow which will prove to be a huge asset to the entire Hatters' organization.

Coach Rob is a native of Toronto, Ontario. He met his wife of 26 years, Kim, while attending Concordia University in Montreal. They have a son, Zach, who played in the USPHL for the Florida Eels, and just concluded  his Junior season at D3 NCAA Neumann University.

Coach Rob will be joined on the team coaching staff by Hockey Director Yan Kaminsky, and Assistant Hockey Director Sean Bernhardt. The Atlanta MadHatters are thrilled to have Coach Rob join our organization that already boasts an elite level coaching staff from top to bottom!
